EDUCATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETICS LABORATORY

The undergraduate Educational Electromagnetic Laboratory (EML) is maintained by Prof. Balandin as a supporting laboratory for EE117: Engineering Electromagnetics – II course and EE175A/B Senior Design course. The antenna testing equipment for this laboratory has been purchased with the funds donated by TRW, Inc. (San Bernardino). The available equipment allows students to carry out field tests of different types of antennas and measure antenna characteristics such as radiation pattern, directivity, gain, beam width, etc. For more information view the sample student presentations below or contact Prof. Balandin at alexb@ee.ucr.edu
