Graduate Student Researchers (GSR) Positions Available
The Nano-Device Laboratory (NDL) invites applications for one or two Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) positions available immediately. The positions are open for students who wish to pursue Ph.D. or M.S. degree in EE specializing in the area of electronic materials and devices. Applicant should have earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and have a relevant solid-state physics and mathematical background to carry out theoretical research. To apply, current EE graduate students should send an email to Prof. Balandin email@example.com. All others should formally apply to Electrical Engineering Graduate Program and specify their interest to work in NDL in their Statement of Purpose.
Postdoctoral Positions Available
The Nano-Device Laboratory (NDL) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher Position. Applicant should have earned a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics and have a relevant solid-state physics background to carry out theoretical or experimental research. The theorist is expected to carry out research in the area of phonon - electron transport in semiconductor nanostructures and its applications to thermal conduction, thermoelectrics, electronic noise and optoelectronics. The experimentalist is expected to assist in setting up materials characterization laboratory and carry out nanotechnology related research. To apply, please send an email to Prof. Balandin firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and publication list.
